Ulla von Brandenburg takes the private interior of Rosascape and turns it into a theatre set. A mirror placed in the main room and also featuring in the artist's film provides a way into the real via the means of fiction. Our discussion on the emergence of meaning, the birth of thought and the question of the 'reflected' image has brought me to focus my response on the somewhat neglected topic of 'figurative sense'.
